It all Started with “I Do!”….

…Okay, Maybe Long Before my wedding:-)

I’ve always been drawn to the Arts.  Whether it’s Absurd or Commedia in theatre, to world music, visual arts or Film.  And don’t get me started on cinema…there’re just too many genres, from foreign to classic, to choose from.  I’m constantly amazed by the wealth of inspiration out there, and equally stunned by how often brides stick to the norm.

As a Creative Designer & Actor, originally from Cameroon, with New York Sensibilities and a home base in Los Angeles, there’s lots to draw from.

I decided to start WEDDING NOUVEAU to speak to the needs of brides, such as myself, who are not only proud of their unique sense of style, but who aren’t afraid to incorporate cultural sensibility, subtlety and finesse  into their interracial and/or multi-ethnic wedding day.

WEDDING NOUVEAU  is  a cross cultural style guide for today’s bride.
It features images taken by some of today’s sought after photographers documenting real weddings of interracial/ multicultural couples that dare to dream outside the box.  Along with tips on different traditions, trend breakers, new wedding fashion styles that merge modern with tradition and creative ideas, Wedding Nouveau captures the unique essence of Fusion weddings.

By tapping into my years in theatre, creative design, and the whirlwind experience of having been a “Do-It-Yourself” Bride, I’ve come to one very definitive conclusion:

Vogue, Inspiration, and Culture can live happily ever after…and I want to help.
