As we begin the countdown to the release of our Spring 2012 Issue, we could see no better way to build anticipation than by showcasing some of the amazing vendors who partnered with us. Our theme was the “Parisian Souk,” bringing a little splash of Chanel to a North African Chalet.
As fortune would have it, we stumbled on to Mir & Mookhi, a fashion house of Paris-meets-Persia…and based out of Los Angeles. Run by Alia Naz Mir and Ali Raza Mookhi, Mir & Mookhi showcases the joint efforts of two strong designers who over the past two years have styled celebs and public figures in the US, Canada and the Middle East.
From embroidered hoodies to beaded boleros, everything out of Mir & Mookhi‘s collection is pure perfection. We had a blast pairing these Middle Eastern-inspired pieces with more traditionally western bridal gowns, and even an even harder time parting with them. We can’t wait to show you the full spread in the Spring 2012 issue.
