WIN a $50.00 Gift Card from BeauCoup Favors

The countdown has begun!!! WN will be celebrating her very first birthday on August 5th, 2010 and to celebrate all the wonderful support and growth we’ve experienced in just under a year, what better way to say thank you than by offering up some really sweat prizes?

Once again, I’m totally enamored with the buffet of unique event favors from Beau-coup.  I’ve selected some of my favorite favor ideas and paired them with a dream palette for your inspiration:

___________________________________________

{PICK #1} Personalized Tea Sachets.

I love these little paper tea sachets.  Fill each cone with a variety of teas ranging from earl grey and mint citrus to chamomile.  Not only are they aesthetically pleasing, they’re a subtle way of adding a little aromatic therapy to your reception.

Part of Japanese custom (among others) is the emphasis on hospitality.  The act of gift giving is considered a very respectible gesture of hospitality and practiced in households, business meetings and social events.

Your friends and family will surely appreciate these cute little table accessories.  I think these tea sachets would fit in perfectly with a zen-garden dream palette or a sugar-inspired garden party.

___________________________________________

{PICK #2} Mini Purse-shaped Manicure Sets.

How often have you notice a chipped, dry or chewed fingernai right before a big event.  I used to chew my nails obsessively, so finger grooming can be a sensitive subject for me.

Here’s a great gift for the gals in your bridal party, or the guys who aren’t afraid to wear their “man”icure loud and proud.

These j’adorable little purse-shaped manicure favors would blend in perfectly in a soft pink victorian dream palette or if you want a more fashion forward motif, try it on for size in this pink dior dream palette inspired byShanghai.

__________________________________________

{PICK #3} Wedding Sparklers.

By day, they are but elegant sticks adorned in colorful ribbon.  By night, wedding sparklers transfrom the evening into an intimate fireworks parade, offering an ambient glow to the couple’s send off.  Not to mention the minimized clean up that would normally be required for rice, petals and paper confetti.

I just love sparklers!

Get inspired by a national holiday dream palette in the heart of midsummer…or brighten up fall and winter romance in a sparkler-filled  Creole holiday dream palette.

___________________________________________

{PICK #4} Wine Cork Candles

Who doesn’t love a little candlelight romance.  Instead of playing it safe with just white wax in glass votives, add a little glow to your wine bar with these wine cork candles.

Using adhesive, place a few empty bottle along the stairway, in the corridors or in the courtyard, to give your event a vintage feel.

When I think of red wine corks, my mind instantly goes to vineyard sunsets, mediterranean courtyards, and the robust hues of fall twilight.

Envision these cork candles in a fall harvest dream palette or paired with the magical auro of a rustic bayou dream palette.

I love the sandalwood fans on the website. We are doing a rustic, outdoor-sy wedding on May 28, 2011. The natural wood fits in perfectly with our theme and will help keep guests cool. We have been thinking about having barbeque at our reception, so the personalized barbeque sauce would make a great wedding favor!

Since I love to bake, I think the personalized cookie mixes would be a cute idea for bridal shower favors! The “love is sweet” labels would be perfect, and the favors would look perfect on a dessert buffet!

I am loving the Bloemboc Flower Seeds, They would add punch of color to any garden theme or festive soirée. I’m doing a festive Asian theme (brightly colored silk lanterns etc) and since Asian gardens are always so fabulous these would work perfectly!

I absolutely adore the tea sachets! My fiance proposed by hiding the ring in a teapot at the end of a meal. We are absolute tea fiends! Are colors are citrus hues with a charcoal grey background.

I’ve subscribed (so excited I found this place!) :)

I love love love the mini bamboo steamers. My fiance is Chinese and even though we are having a traditional American wedding, I’ve been looking for ways to incorporate his heritage too. These would be perfect! His last name is See… so we’ve been toying with having ‘See’s Candies’ as favors, we could put a few pieces in each box. How cute would that be?

The Asian sandalwood fans from Beau-coup will help to keep our guests at our outdoor summer wedding nice and cool. In addition, the sandalwood fans will fit into the “Dior Escapes to Shanghai” dream palette beautifully. A tag with our wedding monogram and a simple crystal will be attached to each fan, further accenting the feel. What a wonderful giveaway and site!
