If you’ve been following WN then you know that here, it’s all about celebrating fusion in wedding style, ethnicity, fashion and cultural ideas. WN’s goal is to find creative ways of taking tradition and adding a little spice to it in a way that’s different and fresh. So imagine my excitement when I stumbled onto a fashion house that’s the embodiment of all the characteristics we love.
Habesha Collection (Habesha meaning “To mix” in the Ethiopian Language of Amharic) is the stylish fusion of Asian-inspired fashion, African-infused textiles and a unique aesthetic that’s worth your envy.
Fusing Ankara fabric with a Cheongsam cut? Now that’s Fashion Nouveau! Don’t miss some other Asian/ African inspired couture ideas.

I love this website. My Fiancee and I have been together for 6 years. We have a 2 year old together. We knew from the begining that we never wanted a big “to-do,” but more like a celebration of us as a family. I am african american and white while he is chinese. I knew from the begining that I wanted our celebration to circle around our cultures and family. I wanted to blend the african and asian themes, but really had to vision. Thank you so much for helping me find my yellow brick road!
Love the skirt in the 2nd photo.
