Zen Garden Inspiration

Tuesday embarks with gratitude to a bride-to-be and dedicated reader.  Her dream palette request for a  “tranquil and zen-inspired” wedding board, is exactly what I needed to detox for the previous week of coding and html trouble shooting.

Bida, a Balinese bride-to-be will be getting married in the summer of 2011 to Jack, a “Jewish Californian by day/ Foodie by night.”  Inspired by the location in which Jack popped the big question -the Japanese Tea Garden in San Francisco, Bida has unleashed her imagination into the world of zen culture, minimalist chic designs and a simple awakening of the senses.

Inspiration: Zen & Tranquility

As mentioned earlier, Jack (Bida’s fiance) is a self-proclaimed foodie who spends lots of hours tending to their home garden of organic vegetables, including his favorite: Artichoke.  Inspired by the bride’s favorite colors, the groom’s love for organic cuisine, and the couples personal connection to a zen garden…here’s the palette:

Dream Palette # 79: A ZEN WEDDING

Colors: Moss, Green Tea, Pink and Salmon

The eco-friendly artichoke candles designed by Dog n’ Bird are a perfect example of how to add a simple, elegant and edible design touch to every day items.  Bida, I hope today’s palette puts you on a confident path.  Happy planning.

I love these colors together – sort of a grown up version of watermelon :)
