You hear it a lot. It’s used to describe rhapsodies, “life” in French and the newest notch on the belt of wedding styles. I’m referring to the term: Bohemia, or rather a timeless concept that knows no boundaries, embraces all art forms and fuses eclectic personality with nouveau style. Sometimes, finding new ways to design your wedding requires you to dream beyond geographic region and tangible objects. By following your heart, under the tutelage of guiding themes such as “rustic”, “avant-garde” or “bohemian”, you open up a pandora’s box of imagination.

With the arrival of spring, we’ve turned to more lively and effervescent palettes. Today is no different. Since bohemian culture is non-existent without art, today’s dream palette celebrates one of the richest arts & craft cultures: Africa. An afro-bohemian palette touches on detailed carved artifacts, raw textiles such as burlap and wood, produce such as coffee or sugar, and warmth.
It’s “La Vie Boheme”…or should I say, “L’Afri Boheme”.

Hi Lindsey. If you’re referring to the bottom right corner dress, then it’s from monsoon – http://www.monsoon.co.uk/ I believe it’s from 2008 or 2009.
