To my fellow Cameroonians out there, Happy Youth Day today.
I was so excited when Brandie Maxwell, editor of Out and About Africa asked me to be part of her “Let’s Talk” series, and I’m humbled by her lovely feature yesterday. Out and About Africa is one of my go-to sources for a spoonful of nostalgia and inspiration. She features trendy and innovative designers in African fashion, music, interior design and my personal favorite: photography. So you can imagine, how honored I was to be interviewed.

I often visit Out & About Africa for inspiration on my dream palettes, so it’s always a pleasure to be acknowledged by those you admire. She asked me several questions that conjured up memories of home in Cameroon, and reactivated my dreams for the future. One question in particular that she asked was:
“What’s your personal soundtrack at the moment?”

Ooh, what a great site.
I agree. there’re some really amazing insights over there. I stumbled unto it last year and I’ve been hooked ever since. And I’m not even African.
That’s what I love about inspiration, it’s color blind, non-judgemental and absolutely bipartisan. INSPIRATION just IS! Thanks for the comments ladies.
All of these photos look beautiful! I love the interiors shot– the color in the artwork strikes just the perfect balance in the room. Will have to check out the website and your interview.
