{Wedding Inspiration Board #56} A Scarlett Romance with Japan

Here’s to mid week inspirations, dreams of the far east, and any excuse to infuse your wedding palette with sensual sanguine and high drama.  Here’s to the upcoming wedding of Akiko, who made a request for her dream geisha inspired wedding.

Bride’s Request: Akiko, is a self proclaimed “Japanese Siren” and a lover of vintage Japanese style.  Planning her fall wedding to her gentleman caller and southern beau is top priority right now.  It wasn’t too hard to have a jumping off point, as Akiko expressed her love for Gone with the Wind, Memoirs of a Geisha, and the Secret Garden.    Colors: Red.  Style: Bold, Dramatic & Storybook. Dress: Monique Lhuillier’s Geisha gown.

Inspiration: Sanguine Drama

Her makeup is stunning in the first photo. I love love these colors, they are so warm and very atumny!
