Wedding Inspiration Board | Fall Harvest & Countrysides – Part 2

In continuation to our ode to fall, harvest season and the anticipation of November’s Thanksgiving, the countryside inspiration journeys on.  I found two gorgeous images, both of which  had to be included as the motivation behind today’s pseudo-French inspiration.  French in language, but a totally different country: BELGIUM.

Wouldn’t it be great to harness the energy of spring (the sense of fresh renewal, the emergence of life and anticipation of new energy) and convert that energy to Autumn Bliss?  This could involve muted spring tones, nostalgic memories and the calm union of friends and family.  Spring and Fall are like the Yin Yang of emotions, and I think there’s something there worth exploring for the perfect wedding palette.

Challenge: How do you harness the energy of spring into a Fall harvest Wedding?

How you can do it: 1) Go for muted spring tones, instead of pastels. 2) Vintage details such as lace, paper and calligraphy can evoke the feeling of nostalgia and solace which is so fall. 3) Outdoor seating with simple hanging lanterns and/or candles would work perfectly.  5) Keep the menu focus on local produce.  6) By balancing casual curls or a gently pulled back hair do, with a pretty fabulous gown, you’ve got the “fierce yet laid-back” box Checked!.
