Hello Monday Muse! And by muse, I mean Miller…Leigh Miller, whom if you haven’t heard of…get thee to her website and allow her amazing portfolio to speak for itself. Among many events, she coiffed a beautiful outdoor wedding in southern California’s Orange County this summer, which I couldn’t stop gawking over. And so our romantic play begins…
Background:
Leading Players: Our leading characters are Manuela, A determined Bride from Romania and her strapping prince Eric, of Vietnamese and Chinese decent.
Setting: A Romantic Strawberry Farm in the Summer.
Scene 1: The true tale of a Romanian Bride and her elusive Magic Slippers.
It started with a dazzling magazine clipping of a previous Stuart Weitzman’s creation, let’s call them “the Magic Slippers.” Or so they were to bride, Manuela, who reminded herself everyday by the posted article on the wall. Needless to say that finding those shoes wasn’t going to be a stroll in the park, as they had been discontinued. For the sake of time, I’ll summarize by stating that after numerous phone calls, a persistent spirit, a cooperative sales agent and the approval of Stuart Weitzman himself…Manuela was able to purchase the VERY LAST PAIR from the designer.

Don’t believe me, when I say Stuart hooked up the bride, Big time? Read the full story here.
Scene 2: The Groom Awaits…
…who by the way, picked out the Lavender and Red color scheme. Uhm, a wee bit jealous?

The flower girls were all daughters of the bride’s sibling and/or close friends. Using a red wagon to roll them in, couldn’t have been more perfect with their rustic informal setting.
Scene 3: I now pronounce you happy and in love…

Scene 4: Barnyard Bliss

Finale: An exciting TBD…

A huge, spicy thanks to Leigh of Leigh Miller Photography for providing these charming images, and to the bride- Manuela, for being so candid and generous to me with her style ideas, heritage and story. Congrats to M&E!
And our voyeuristic inspirations continue…
Spicyhugs,
Fri B.
