In visualizing today’s dream palette, the main focus was on an unknown food item called the Kola Nut, a bitter nut that is derived from the evergreen Kola tree (part of the cocoa family).
It’s used in many ceromonial processions in West and Central Africa, and interestingly, it’s probably on your desk or in your soda machine right now. As obscure as it may seem, it’s the fundamental ingredient in major soft drinks such as Pepsi and Coke (from which Coke’s name is losely based).
Kola nut is a caffeine stimulant that is highly prized in different regions as the ‘bread’ of many gatherings and is therefore, presented, broken, shared and partaken by all the parties and families in every marriage ceremony as the final consummation and blessing. But enough anthropology 101…
…Today’s Dream palette: Kola Nut love, is loosely based on it’s strength in taste and significance, with a playful & colorful Wedding Nouveau overlay.

I love this palette. I’ve been trying to plan my wedding to a South African, and was feeling pressured to have it themed. But his this is so flirty, fun and still respectful…will be stealing this idea. Thanks Fri.
